Service Packs contain MVIRS enhancements and bug-fixes, updated VIN decoding files, and other periodically updated information.
MVIRS automatically checks the MVIRS Service Center for available service packs when it starts, and notifies you when updates are available. You can choose to install an update when notified, or to have MVIRS provide a reminder two hours later.
