If you prefer, we can e-mail an invoice which you can then pay by check or money order.
Your license key will be issued immediately upon successful processing of your credit card/check, or receipt of your check or money order.
Note on Barcode Scanners
You can find cheaper barcode scanners, but we haven't found one that scans the small barcodes as consistently as the scanner we recommend, and the cheaper scanners are generally slower.
If you do decide to purchase a different scanner, be sure it's capable of scanning
PDF-417 barcodes.
MVIRS Pricing
MVIRS is licensed on an annual basis. The license fee entitles you to an unlimited number of recorded inspections, free program updates (new features and bug fixes), free VIN decoding file updates, free zipcode file updates, free insurance company file updates, and unlimited telephone technical support.
The following pricing is all-inclusive. No other setup, training, upgrade or support fees apply:

MVIRS Cost/Benefit Analysis
The benefits of MVIRS are both intangible and tangible. Intangible benefits include the professional-looking Customer Inspection Report that can be given to the customer, and state inspection records that are more accurate and legible, leading to fewer problems with your Quality Assurance Officer.
The main tangible benefit is the reduced time required to complete MV-431 and MV-480 forms.
Example 1
A small station employs 2 licensed inspection mechanics and performs 600 inspections per year. The shop labor rate is $65. We will conservatively estimate that MVIRS saves an average of 3 minutes per inspection.
